Conference Introduction


The Engineered Science Society (ESS) is excited to unveil the forthcoming Engineered Science Annual Conference – Clean Water and Sustainable Energy 2024. Scheduled to take place in the dynamic city of Bursa, Turkey, on a date yet to be determined in 2024, this event is organized in collaboration with the renowned Bursa Uludag University. The conference is dedicated to creating an engaging platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and in-depth discussions in the field of engineered sciences.

   

The ES Annual Conference 2024 is set to be a two-day event featuring a variety of engaging activities, including keynote speeches, thematic discussions, and presentations covering various aspects of engineered sciences. This year's primary focus, "Clean Water and Sustainable Energy," aims to delve into groundbreaking advancements and technological innovations that are transforming engineering practices worldwide.

 

Bursa Uludag University is a significant educational institution located in Turkey. Established in 1975, it has grown to become one of the country's leading universities. The university is known for its prestigious and dynamic research environment, plays a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and innovation in Turkey and beyond. With a strong focus on research and development, Bursa Uludag University contributes to both the academic and scientific communities in Turkey and internationally. Additionally, the university's location in Bursa, a city known for its rich history and cultural heritage, provides a vibrant backdrop for students and faculty members.

 

Bursa, suited 156km down south of Istanbul, with dynamic history and natural beauty, is one of the most picturesque locations in Turkey. Nestled at the base of the Uludag mountain range and known as the "Green Bursa" due to its lush landscapes, the city offers a unique blend of natural charm and historical richness. We look forward to welcoming you at ES Annual Conference 2024 in November in Bursa!

Morning Sessions:

Focused morning sessions delve deep into specialized areas of engineered sciences, providing in-depth explorations, discussions, and collaborations within targeted domains. Followed by concluding of the conference hosts the prestigious Awards Ceremony and Valedictory event. Recognizing excellence, the Awards Ceremony honors the Best Paper and celebrates the esteemed ES Fellows. The Valedictory wraps up the conference with reflections on the collective journey, affirming commitments to continued collaboration and progress in engineered sciences.

Important Notes to Authors/Presenters

Authors must complete their meeting registration and pay fees by 30 September 2024. Late payment may result in their Abstracts not being included in the Conference Program and other publications produced for distribution at the conference.

If circumstances prevent you from completing your registration and payment by 30 September 2024, you may request written permission from the Symposium Chair concerned to extend the payment deadline or be allowed to make payment onsite. Do note, however, that different registration rates will apply when you make the request and not every request can be acceded.

Participation will only be confirmed upon receipt of the online registration form and fee payment. If selecting “Student Registration”, you need to upload your student status proof (see item 5.0 below)

The banquet dinner is included in full registration. For student attendants and additional guests, the banquet dinner can be purchased alongside the registration for $50 per person.

Hotels conveniently located within walking distance of the conference venue, along with the agreed-upon room rates are listed below. If you chose to live in any of these hotels, please indicate your room and date preferences during the registration, we will add the cost to your invoice.

3) Fees and Participation

How to register, pay, view and download payment records
3.1 Create a user account with the registration portal.
3.2 Login and click “Registration”.  Follow the given steps to complete the online form. Once completed,
(a) A Registration ID will be assigned. Invoice and payment instructions can be viewed online under “registration account”.
(b) You can pay fees immediately (recommended) or later. However, late fees will apply (if paid after 30 October 2024).
3.3 A receipt can only be issued after payment is cleared. You can view online and/or print your copy with your user account.
3.4 Online portal closes on 30th October 2024. After 30th October 2024, registration can only be made onsite.
3.5 Admission to the conference is on the condition that any fees owing to the conference (including late registration) must be paid onsite at the registration desk.

4.3 Notes
An additional registration fee is payable for each additional Paper/Presentation. Each (additional) banquet ticket costs USD 50.


5) Student Registration

If selecting this option, you must upload the student status proof.  This can be in the form of a letter issued by the school or a matriculation card. Without the student status proof, payment at student rates cannot be accepted. The proof document must be in English and should contain at least the following:

  1. Student name

  2. Student matriculation number (student ID with photo)

  3. Expiration date or Expected graduation date (this should be later than the conference date)

  4. University name

6) Registration Withdrawal / Cancellation Policies
1) Authors must register and pay by 30th October 2024 to have their Abstracts included in the conference program and any publications produced for distribution at the conference.
2) There will be no refund for withdrawal/cancellation notices received after 30th October 2024. For a notice received before 30th October 2024, an administration fee of USD 100 will apply.

7) Payment Methods

The conference organising secretariat will issue the invoice for payment via bank transfer.
